Bittersweet Blood by Nina Croft

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

Tara just wants to be normal.  She has spent her entire life sheltered by her aunt.  After her aunt's recent death Tara decided it was time to start living her life.  She has moved out of the home she as been in since her birth and started college in London.  The first rule she has been required to live by is not to question who she is.
Breaking all the rules has led her to Christian Roth, private investigator.
Christian is a vampire that used to lead the Order and is now a businessman and private investigator.  He is instantly drawn to Tara.  He wants her and will have her but she isn't going to put up much of a struggle. Since she has decided to start breaking all the rules she has been required to live by then she is going to give herself to Christian and fall in love.
There is a problem with Tara's normal life plan, she isn't normal.  She was kept hidden because of who she is. She was not only hidden in a house but also by magic.  Breaking the rules has affected this magic and now she is being hunted.  Tara is half demon and half fae.  Both want her dead because of who she is and who she loves.  With all of her secrets revealed she has to decide if she wants the life she has now or a normal life without what has come to mean the most to her.

This was a great paranormal romance.  The romance was hot and detailed.  What isn't to love when you have a sexy vampire and a virgin.  I liked the story for the other characters as well and hope to read about them in the next book.
Thanks to Entangled Publishing, LLC and NetGalley for allowing me to read.
