Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This book was very hot and dirty and I loved it. I find that dark twist of life books pull me in. Noelle has been thrown out of Eden. Now she must survive in the slums. She has spent her entire life controlled and made to feel shameful. This is a dystopian world and her curiosity for alcohol and sex has gotten thrown out of the city for the privileged. She ends up in Sector Four, taken in by the O'Kane gang. She is in complete lust for Jasper, the gang leader's second in charge. Lex is Dallas' woman and the woman in charge who has decided the she also wants Noelle to be her baby girl.
Life here encourages sex and exploration, the exact things she was made to feel shameful for in Eden. Now Noelle has to if she is truly into submission, bondage and group sex or is she just desiring these behaviors because they are shameful. In Sector Four the women have the power to say no and trust goes both ways. As soon as things get rough though Jasper bails thinking Noelle would be safer back in Eden. This breaks her heart and trust. She wanted nothing more than to be collared by him and wear his ink around her neck. Now she has to learn how to live on her own, even if she continues to long for Jasper.
This book was great and the characters are rough and bad. I can't wait to read Lex's story because she is in complete control and her and Dallas may kill each other before they find a middle in their relationship.

Thank you to Kit Rocha and NetGalley for allowing me to read.
