The Things I Do for You by Minx Malone

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

When they made a deal to help each other out all self control was gone. Raina and Nick fell in love on that one night stand months ago. Since then they have denied and fought their feelings. Raina was burned by her ex-boyfriend and refuses to believe she will ever love again. Nick cannot even deny his feelings and has decided he will have her even if she refuses to love him. The problem is once they are thrown together Raina cannot deny how much she desires him.

Some people just don't realize how good they have it until it is gone. Raina just can't let herself be happy. Her feelings are all over the place and poor Nick is being pulled along.

This is another great read by Minx Malone. I am ready for book 3 now!

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

Another smash hit by Colleen Hoover. No-one writes heartache like Colleen. Sky has been sheltered all her life. Finally, her senior year she is going to public school. When she meets Dean Holder she can tell he is a bad boy. The problem is she is drawn to him.
Holder cannot stay away from Sky. There is something familiar about her and he must find out why. Their story is of love and heartache. This story is amazing! I didn't stop reading until I finished the entire book.

Wild Child by Shelly Munro

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

Wow, this book makes you feel hot and dirty!  My opinion is, if they aren't a blood relative then all is fair.  Zoe and Matt are not related, well only by marriage.  Her father married his mother and she has wanted him every since.  She is tired of waiting.  Matt was having so much trouble resisting his attraction to Zoe that he moved to Australia.  This was working until he came home to find her in his bed.  His resistance didn't last another week.  They not only give into their lust but their hearts.  You never know where you will find love, even in the family.  A yummy, short read.

His Reluctant Rancher by Roxanne Snopek

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

This is a good heartfelt romance. I haven't read book 1 and still got they story. I found myself cheering Des and Zach on throughout the book. There were times I wanted her to smack him for being hard headed. He made it difficult for her to love him. Even with the stress and his bad moods Des found herself feeling more at home on the big ranch. She realized she was fighting to save it as much as the family who owned it.

A Bad Boy is Good to Find by Jennifer Lewis

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

If a relationship could work with just lust then Lizzie and Conroy would be great; however, the issue of trust has ruined any chance they had. Lizzie has lived a life of luxury and never put much thought to it. She really just wanted a relationship with her parents or someone she could bond with. She has never felt great about herself but Conroy makes her feel amazing on the inside and out. She realizes she wants this forever, that is until she looses it all.

The money is gone and Lizzie finds out that is a problem for her relationship. Conroy is unable to love but if he could feel that deeply for someone it would be Lizzie. That is why it kills him to find out how much his deception has hurt her. He has to make her realize how amazing she is and that he wants to spend the rest of her life making her feel. As a matter of fact he loves who she feels all over.

Lizzie has been burned by her family and the man she loves and now it is time for revenge. The only thing she is looking out for now is herself and she is determined to make Conroy feel some of her pain. The problem with this plan is how much she still wants him. The more they are together the harder it is to fight her feelings for him.

This story is hot and dirty. It gets even hotter down in the Louisiana swamps.

Beyond Control by Kit Rocha

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

I love this series! If this is the life of dystopia then yum and I'm moving in. The story of Alex and the King of Sector 4 isn't your happy ever after. However, their story is still amazing and hot. Lex and Dallas are crazy for each other and they make each other crazy. Dallas has to be in control. Any signs of weakness will put him and all of the people he must protect in danger. The problem is he has a weakness and she is named Alexa and she is under no-ones control. That is until she gives into her greatest desire, belonging to Dallas. Can she trust him enough to give him all the control? Can he put her needs before his own need for power?

This book was just as amazing as the first. Waiting for the next is going to drive me crazy.

A Vampire's Salvation by Virna DePaul

My Rating is 4 out of 5 Stars

Jake brings Frankie out of her lonely, emotionless life. She keeps herself sheltered because her ex-boyfriend betrayed her and broke her heart. She does't know it but Jake has been waiting to claim what is his. This story is hot erotica with an alpha vampire.

Tamed by Douglas R. Brown

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

This was a different type of read for me. I love a good werewolf read and found the story of a were-pet interesting. The suspense picked around a quarter of the way into the story. It took me awhile to get into the book. I would start it and then go to another book. Eventually I stuck with it and really liked the story once the action started. I think the beginning needed more story of the characters without jumping around so much. I recommend giving the book a chance if you want a good paranormal read with lots of suspense.

Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian

My Rating is 5 out of 5 Stars

Another great hit! Mira is all grown up and it took me a little while to get myself up with this. Even though the characters in this book were part of the Order before it was weird not having the originals be a large part of the storyline. Mira has loved Kellan since they were children. When a he was killed in an explosion she became angry, bitter, and hell-bent on revenge. Her wild behavior has forced Lucan, head of the Order, to pull her out of the field. She is assigned to protective duty of a scientist traveling to the GNC Summit.
When a group of rebels kidnap her target everything turns out to be a lie. Kellan is to only alive but the leader of the rebel group and the ultimate traitor. He has been alive all this time and chose not to come back Mira after he healed from the explosion. He saw his future in Mira's eyes and thought he was protecting her by staying away.
It turns out that Kellan is fighting on the same side as the Order. The mission is to protect the Breed from a weapon that will kill them with ultraviolet light. This invention is in the hands of a group of humans that are secretly planning to use it at the Summit. The problem is the vampires and the scientist that made the weapon possible have no idea.
Kellan and Mira are still hopelessly in love with each other. Using her gift Mira seeks the truth of their future and looses her eye sight. Then she looses Kellan again but hopefully not for long. I loved the book and this series. I can't wait for next one.

The Baby Bargain by Jennifer Apodaca

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

I am a sucker for long lost loves and this books delivers.  Megan and Adam haven't seen each other in years.  They haven't dates since college but they find comfort in each other when Adam was in town after his parents death.  That was three years ago and Adam has no idea what that night produced because he was up and back out of town as fast as possible.  He told Megan he was never coming back either.  His life has been miserable since the death of his brother.  There was no peace even when he tried to be a better man by joining the Marines.  He has no faith in himself or his ability to be the man that Megan needs.
Megan has always wanted Adam but things are different now.  It isn't just about her any more, she has a 3 year old son to protect.  A son that Adam doesn't know he fathered.  She is torn from keeping Adam away, wanting him so much and telling him about his son.
Now she needs him to protect them too.  Someone is setting her up for stealing a dog she has taken treated.  They want to ruin her business and her.  This forces Megan to tell Adam immediately and he isn't happy with her or the fact he is being forced into this family.  However, he soon realizes the family he grew up with wasn't a real family like the one he now has.  There is no way he would let those things happen to the family he loves.
I highly recommend this book.  It is romantic, tear-breaking and suspenseful.  Jennifer Apodaca did a great job.

Restoring Jordan by Elizabeth Finn

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This book was hot from the start and that would be at a one night stand.  Adeline is finally starting her internship after spending the last few years of her life committing herself to school.  She finally lets loose the weekend before she begins and gives her virginity to an amazing hot man.  First day on the job she gets lost only to discover the gorgeous hunk is a Principal at the company.  This is going to make her life very difficult but Jordan becomes something she cannot refuse.

The story was romantic and erotic.  I was cheering for Adeline and Jordan the entire time.  Great read!

Bittersweet Blood by Nina Croft

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

Tara just wants to be normal.  She has spent her entire life sheltered by her aunt.  After her aunt's recent death Tara decided it was time to start living her life.  She has moved out of the home she as been in since her birth and started college in London.  The first rule she has been required to live by is not to question who she is.
Breaking all the rules has led her to Christian Roth, private investigator.
Christian is a vampire that used to lead the Order and is now a businessman and private investigator.  He is instantly drawn to Tara.  He wants her and will have her but she isn't going to put up much of a struggle. Since she has decided to start breaking all the rules she has been required to live by then she is going to give herself to Christian and fall in love.
There is a problem with Tara's normal life plan, she isn't normal.  She was kept hidden because of who she is. She was not only hidden in a house but also by magic.  Breaking the rules has affected this magic and now she is being hunted.  Tara is half demon and half fae.  Both want her dead because of who she is and who she loves.  With all of her secrets revealed she has to decide if she wants the life she has now or a normal life without what has come to mean the most to her.

This was a great paranormal romance.  The romance was hot and detailed.  What isn't to love when you have a sexy vampire and a virgin.  I liked the story for the other characters as well and hope to read about them in the next book.

Double Coverage by Mercey Celeste

My Rating 3 out of 5 Stars

I loved the way this book started out but then it jumped into double drive.  Going from long lost crushes between Kailey and Trigger was completely believable.  Then Bullet enters, having never had any type of friendship with Kailey and they are all completely in love within two days.  That was too much.  The story needed a couple more chapters/weeks in the story to get to the forever between the trio.  I was easily convinced of the feelings between Bullet and Trigger as well but again Bullet and Kailey happened to fast.  Now the bedroom scenes were very hot and detailed.  I even enjoyed the life together forever relationship as a menage but wasn't sold on it happening in two days.

Thank you Mercy Celeste and NetGalley for allowing me to read.

Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This book was very hot and dirty and I loved it. I find that dark twist of life books pull me in. Noelle has been thrown out of Eden. Now she must survive in the slums. She has spent her entire life controlled and made to feel shameful. This is a dystopian world and her curiosity for alcohol and sex has gotten thrown out of the city for the privileged. She ends up in Sector Four, taken in by the O'Kane gang. She is in complete lust for Jasper, the gang leader's second in charge. Lex is Dallas' woman and the woman in charge who has decided the she also wants Noelle to be her baby girl.
Life here encourages sex and exploration, the exact things she was made to feel shameful for in Eden. Now Noelle has to if she is truly into submission, bondage and group sex or is she just desiring these behaviors because they are shameful. In Sector Four the women have the power to say no and trust goes both ways. As soon as things get rough though Jasper bails thinking Noelle would be safer back in Eden. This breaks her heart and trust. She wanted nothing more than to be collared by him and wear his ink around her neck. Now she has to learn how to live on her own, even if she continues to long for Jasper.
This book was great and the characters are rough and bad. I can't wait to read Lex's story because she is in complete control and her and Dallas may kill each other before they find a middle in their relationship.
