Against the Wall by Rebecca Zanetti

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars
I would love stuck in Montana and taken in by the Kooskia tribe. Jake is that alpha male that has complete control of his family, both close and extended, his job and a leading role in the community. He is a ruthless lawyer when he needs to be and in order to protect histown he holds nothing back.
In comes Sophie Smith. She is a landscape architect who has designed a high-end golf course for this small town in Montana. She is here to check out the land and pitch her design to the community. The problem is this city girl is way out of her element. She is having a very difficult time resisting Jake who has decided he wants Sophie for as long as she is in town.
What was suppose to be some sexy and temporary loving is slowly building to more than the two expected. Sophie is beginning to like life in Montana with Jake and his family. He didn't even realize something was missing from his life until Sophie showed up, but now he has to convince her that they could have an amazing life together. Soon they realize it doesn't matter where they are as long as they have each other.
This story is sexy and hot, hot, hot. I was even pulled into the supporting characters. I hope the series will continue onto Jakes brothers and sister. There seems to be a lot of hot males in the tribe.

Wild at Heart by Charmaine Ross

My Rating 3 out of 5 Stars

The book has romance and active characters but the story line just isn't exciting. There is a happy ever after in the end, however it lacked the toe curling love or the work for everything you got love. A nice read, but I need more for it to be a page turner.

Thank you Penguin Books/Destiny Romance and NetGalley for the chance to read.

Savin' Me - Book #1 Heat Wave Series by Alannah Lynne

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

Erik and Kat both have serious emotional baggage. The one thing that may overcome this baggage is their desire for each other. They think if they give into the lust then they will work the other out of their system. They should have figured this out before the spent the last thirteen months wanting each other. This theory quickly fails when they realize there is more to their feelings than lust. Both the story and the characters are hot and sexy. A romantic read with some hot lovin.

Thank you Alannah Lynne and NetGalley for allowing me to read.

A Risk Worth Taking by Victoria James

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This is a tear-jerker. Who says you can never come home again? Holly only planned to return to Red River with her sister to renovate their family's home. As an interior designer they could finally make their dreams come true and renovate the house for her sister to live in with her own family. Then tragedy strikes and she is the guardian of her niece Ella. Now she is returning home to renovate and sell her home. The problem is Quinn, the man she fell in love with when she was in high school. Quinn let her go once and doesn't plan on doing it again. He has his work cut out for him though because she has no intention of getting close to anyone ever again.

Holly has endured more heartache than any person ever should. No-one can blame her for wanting to protect herself from more loss. I spent a large part of the book wondering when she was going to realize her heart already belonged to Ella. Now she has to figure out that Quinn isn't a risk but someone to help her hold it all together.
