Beneath This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This amazing story continues!  Jesse and Ava are explosive together.  Their passion, love and need for each other is completely out of control.  Will they make it work or tear each other apart?  Jodi Ellen Malpas has written an awesome trilogy.  I am eagerly waiting for book #3.  Please let it be happy ever after, well after some serious drama.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the ARC.

This Man #1 by Jodi Ellen Malpas

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This trilogy has been added to my favorites list.  Talk about an alpha male, Jesse has just barreled into Ava's life.  She is fighting him and her attraction off with all she has.  This is a battle in which she will benefit from the lose.  I cannot wait to read the next book.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for ARC.

Convicted (Consequences #3) by Aleatha Romig

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

Perfectly twisted, I don't think there is a better way to describe the Consequences' series.  Romig did not disappoint with the dark and devious story.  What I found in this book shocked me more than the first two.  I never expected Claire and Tony's life to take a turn like they did in the final book.  I found myself thinking "No this cannot me happening to them.  They have to have some form of happy in their lives.  What about true love and happy ever after?"  Well, you will just have to read the book to see but let me say the only problem with the book is it being the end to the series.  The characters and story are amazing and easily on of the darkest stories I have ever read, but also the best!

Infinity Unleashed (Valkyries: Soaring Raven #2) by Sedona Venez

Book 2 is just as captivating.  We are given insight to many of the details that have destined Infinity and Boulder to be together.  Even though she is being held captive by Mason and his crazy pride.  She finds herself struggling with what is really happening, what she is imagining, and what is destiny unfolding.  Factor in the influence of the Immortals and Balancers and you find Infinity fighting for her own sanity and control of her future.  She learns the history that has led to everyone wanting to own her because of the power she posses as both salvation and destruction.  What is Infinity willing to sacrifice in order to fulfill the prophecy?  Can she survive long enough for Boulder to get to her or will Mason or Alik claim her first?  How much can she take before it is easier to let the darkness take over?
The story and the characters keep getting better and better.  My problem is Sedona Venez is the queen of cliffhangers which may do me in before book three, comes out in August.

An ARC was provided for an honest review.

Forever Innocent by Deanna Roy

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

WOW! That was an emotional story.  If you are looking for a book that has a happy ever after story this may not be your one.  I'm not saying Corabelle and Gavin are not going to get their forever but book did not wrap them up in a big bow.  This story is real life and not the pretty version.  My heart broke for both Gavin and Corabelle.  I wanted to shake them at times and when they were telling their story I just knew they would tell of something stupid they did.  I hope they both begin to heal and find joy in the next book.  I am cheering for their happy ever after.

At Any Price by Brenna Aubrey

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This book was amazing.  The story was very thorough but not drawn out.  It was obvious Mia and Adam were falling in love throughout the entire story, but their stubbornness keeps you wondering if they will give into the passion.  I was shocked at the end to find out this was part of a series.  There wasn't a big cliffhanger but I was left wanting more.

Jagged (Colorado Mountain #5) by Kristen Ashley

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

It took me a while to get into this book.  It wasn't my favorite in the Colorado Mountain series.  Once Zara and Ham started accepting the fact they were meant to be together things got more interesting.  Bring in drama of Zara's horrible family and now we are getting to a great climax (and not just the ones between Zara and Ham).  I am still a very loyal Kristen Ashely fan and cannot wait until the next book in series.

Three Broken Promises by Monica Murphy

My Rating 4 out of 5 Stars

This is my first Monica Murphy book.  I didn't even know it was a spin off until after I read it.  I really liked Colin and Jen's story.  Now don't get me wrong, their stubbornness to accept their feelings for each other had me screaming, but they had serious passion and heat.  I now have to go back to read Drew and Fable's stories because all the reviews I read tell how awesome they are too.

Darkness Awakened (Darkness #1) by Katie Reus

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This is a great mix of werewolves and vampires.  I always root for the long lost lovers but want to scream at them at the same time for not making their relationship safe.  This story did exactly that to me.  I found myself hopping Lyra would make Finn suffer for a long time before she let him back in.  I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Torn from You (Tear Asunder #1) by Nashoda Rose

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This book is awesome!  Since it was just released today I don't want to give any spoilers so just let me say, "You must read this book."  It will leave you screaming, crying, cheering and hoping and that is just in the first couple chapters.  I couldn't put it down!  I cannot wait for the next book in the Tear Asunder series.

Thank you Nashoda Rose and NetGalley for an ARC.

Selling Scarlett (Love Inc. #1) by Ella James

My Rating 5 out of 5 Stars

This was a great read because it had just the right amount of dark twist.  It was also a very busy books with several story lines yet they all intertwined.  I liked the story and characters.  I will continue with the series and can't wait to see who's story is told next.

Thank you Ella James and NetGalley for an ARC.

No Strings Attached by Suzan Butler

My Rating 3 out of 5 Stars

I wasn't convinced an alpha like Ethan would have allowed his family to control him like his parents did.  Ashlynn obsession with true love wasn't convincing either.  They put to much into their friendship/relationship to allow such character flaws.  I needed more passion or fight for each other.  This kept the story from being a great read.

Thank you Soaring Phoenix Press and NetGalley for an ARC.
