Kitty Thomas never fails to deliver on her dark erotica. She has given us another captive read. It is not her darkest but still a great read. Faith witnessed a murder by the mob. Instead of killing her Angelo decides she will be a slave for his brother. So here I am loving non-consensual and the mafia. Leo is a surgeon and not active in the family business but he will protect them no matter what. He also knows that Faith is dead if she doesn't agree to stay with him. The problem is she is scared to death because she isn't submissive and he isa sadist. The psychological manipulation brings the story full circle.

Bad Things (Tristan & Danika, #1) by R.K. Lilley

Tristan is a dog, dog, dog!  Why couldn't he be an alpha male that wasn't a vengeful idiot?  I want them to be happy ever after but I really think Danika should make him suffer for his actions.  I still love the characters and story.  I can't wait for the next book.

This was a calm read for me since it was suppose to be a bdsm story that mostly takes place in a dungeon. I need a little bit more erotic in my story. It is the first in the series so hopefully they will get hotter and dirtier. I will read the next one though.

I love this book! I am going to go crazy waiting on the next one to come out. There is so much suspense. It is like a cat after the string. You know something big is coming, you predict, and BAM! the book is over. Please write the next one fast. I am dying here!

Gone with the Wolf by Kristin Miller

This book contained some new werewolf vocabulary I was not familiar with.  I always enjoy the love story of the hard to control female and the alpha male determined to have her.  This book did not fail.  Drake Wilder is a twin sharing control a billion dollar company and the pack with his brother.  The first to mate gets the pack while the other takes control of the company.  This is quickly decided when Drake meets Emmie at his office.  She has no idea who he is or that he intends for her to be his mate.  She just wants to save her bar and decides that getting a job at Wilder Financial will help with that.  Now Emmie has to deal with her insane attraction to Drake, all the paranormal that she knew nothing about, and the fact she is to mate with the alpha wolf who has a twin brother that is after her also.  This story has suspense, alpha werewolves, romance and hot sex.  What's not to love?

She chooses one of her best friends, Max, the twin she isn't in love with. Max knowing how Melina feels about his brother, Rhys, and how he feels about her decides to set them up for the weekend practice. Rhys is just as in love with Melina as she is with him. When Melina realized it isn't Max she spent the night with and freaks out Rhys refuses to let her run. It is time for them to take a chance on each other. Will lots of hot sex be enough for them to allow their feelings for each other? I love the characters and hope to get Max's story next.

A romantic read about the town football hero that returns home and finally notices the geeky girl who has grown into an attractive woman. Angie has always known exactly who Cade was but he didn't notice the younger girl back in high school. Cade has come back home to help coach the football team while he heals from an injury and he wants nothing more than to spend some time with the current coach. There are several obstacles standing in the way of their happiness, especially with each other. This isn't a long story but has an intelligent and proud female that is capable of so much, with or without a man.

Short but suspenseful. Trace is the hot, alpha male that finally gets his true love back in his life and there is no way he is letting her go again. Skye is being stalked but she has no proof and no one to help her. Knowing something bad is about to happen to her she has no choice but to turn to the one who threw her away. Even though, Trace has agreed to protect her and figure out who is after her things are not getting better. Skye may not survive her stalker; let alone find out if she and Trace can make it work the second time.
